Old-school accessible pick-up-and-play gameplay gets everyone laying the body, ripping clappers and setting the tone on the ice. Simple controls with an added layer of depth allow up-to-four players of all skill levels to have fun out on the odr. If you are having trouble on the scoreboard, grab a power-up to turn your goalie into a brick wall, or one of the opposing players into a pigeon! Brrrr. Brrrr.

Classic Arcade Hockey

The narrative driven RPG Story Mode features an epic open world map that players can drive around. Take on NPC tournaments to gain XP, unlock new gear through Training Trials or take on the next Hockey God in your way to saving the world. Start out in the North of Sudbury as you work your way to the center of the hockey universe!

The Story Mode features 6 uniquely Northern Hockey Godz that all reign on their own odr. From a moose in a forest, to a raccoon in the city, each Hockey God has their own specialty, stats, rinks and gear that you can unlock. Every series vs a Hockey God is a best-of-series. When you reach an elimination game the boss transforms to their elimination state. Better grip the stick, bud.

Battle the Hockey Godz

Create your character and join the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs on an adventure across the province to defeat the legendary Hockey Godz. Select your body type: small sniper, medium all-rounder, large goon or beastly sledge player. Unlock gear and upgrade your stats as you and the Bulldogs take on all that the Hockey Godz throw at you!

Built on a frozen lake in Canada.

Treewood Games is a Canadian video game development studio created in 2020 by Christopher Atallah. In 2017, while Chris was playing Wayne Gretzky’s 3D Hockey on the N64, an idea hit him like a puck to the shins that he could put his knowledge and experience of making games towards creating his own sports games the way they were always meant to be, fun.

So, while working full-time as a game dev in Toronto, Chris spent his evenings and weekends building the first prototype for the “Hockey RPG”. The vision was to combine accessible pick-up-and-play arcade-style gameplay with modern role-playing game design.

Once the core gameplay was fun, Chris had no choice but to go full-indie. Since 2019, he has put everything into building Treewood Games and ODR Hockey Heroes from an idea into a full game studio with a talented team of artists, developers, writers and music producers.

Treewood Games is a true indie start-up from the wild dreams of a Canadian hockey fan.
